  1. We are so deeply sadden to learn of the passing of Scot. My kids grew up knowing him as the “Bullhorn Man” at all the Pearland Pirate Summer League Swim Meets. Scot and I were both “Members and Large” on the swim team board together at one point. He was always joking around and making us laugh during some rather ‘dry’ board meetings. You could always count on Scot to work each and every meet directing swimmers to the ready area with his Bullhorn. I recall one time when due to his work, he couldn’t make it to the swim meet, and it just wasn’t the same without “Bullhorn Man” Bich there. He was like a fixture that all the kids looked up to and a tradition for the Pearland Pirate Swim Meets. He dedicated and volunteered so much of his time to support his children and not only his children but the whole swim team family. Swim team families have a common bond that I really feel is like no other sport, having been a swimmer myself, we all stick together and it is a team sport where all individuals, from children to parents, contribute to the success of the team. Scot will be dearly missed and I only wish I could hear one more time “Event Number 1 to the Ready Area”, “Event Number 1 the Ready Area”, because in our eyes, that was the official start of the swim meet! God Bless you Scot and I know you will forever be smiling down each and every Saturday during the late Spring/early Summer on all children and parents at the Pearland Pirate Swim Team Meets. Love, The Andrews Family (Doreen, Amber and Colton)

  2. I only found out about Scot’s passing moment ago. I’m shocked and deeply saddened.
I recent years my phone conversations have become more infrequent, however I
always enjoyed chatting with Scot whenever it happened. I will always cherish the friendship I shared with Scott.
I first met Scott 22 years ago when I was attemping to get a new business off the ground. Scott (and his amazing rc car body painting skills) was one of the greatest assets I had at the time. The incredible paintwork he did for me (for advertising and promotion) made my products look better than they really were. He was a reliable and honest man who won my trust and admiration. In the past 22 years of being in this business, I have never found a more talented and conscientious painter than Scot. I will always owe him a huge debt of gratitude.
May Kathryne, Lauren and Philip experience the type of comfort that only God is able to give, during these days of bereavement. I’ll keep you all in my preayers.
