Judith “Judy” Ann Schlotfeldt – Cobb

Judith “Judy” Ann Schlotfeldt-Cobb passed on September 8th at Mainland Medical Center in Texas City. 67 years old. She was born in Des Moines Iowa on April 18th 1953 to William and Marjorie Schlotfeldt.

Judy went to UT for 2 years. She was very active in her sorority.  She worked for Southwest Airlines, and Houston Bar Association during college. She worked for Conoco for over 20 years as an executive secretary. She loved to shop, she loved clothes and fashion. She loved spending time with her family and friends especially her grandson JD. She loved her little dog Chiquita so much. She would talk about her dog all the time. Her dog passed away in March of this year she was 18 years old.

She had 7 years with the love of her life James Cobb. He passed away on father’s day of 2017. Those were some of the happiest years of her life with him.

She was preceded in death by her parents William West Schlotfeld, Marjorie Alyce Schlotfeldt and husband James Cobb.

Judy is survived by her Daughter Jennifer Scruggs and partner Ashley Toca of Pearland Tx, twin sister Deborah Sue Jackson of Bayou Vista Tx and Grandson James Dylan Scruggs aka JD Of Pearland Tx .

The Family will receive friends on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 10:00am with a Ceremony at 11:00 am Crowder Funeral Home – WEBSTER LOCATION, 111 East Medical Center Blvd., Webster, Texas 77598. Interment will immediately follow the ceremony at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster Tx 77598.   3. Jennifer, it makes me incredibly sad to hear of Judy passing. You probably don’t remember but your mom and I would take you and my son Matthew to places like the The Museum of Natural Science. I was already working when Judy started working at Conoco and lost track of her after she married Don. Your Mom was the sweetest friend I had. I think our glue was we both were single moms and we both loved you and Matt more than anything. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

    I have great memories from your mom. She was very nice and had a lot of emphaty with us back at home, Venezuela. I enjoyed every time I saw her and share nice moments and conversations with her.
