Laura, you were more than a friend. You were a bridge, an open heart, an open mind. There will never be a day where I won’t miss you, how we connected as friends, far past words.

Laura was such a true and genuine person. She was always willing to help everyone and was an incredible mentor of many people. I feel very honored to have worked so closely with her and blessed to have gotten to know her as a true and trusted friend. I will miss her so very much.
Laura, I can still remember the visits to your house as a child. You and Christy would trace the faces of Kizz’s (band) members, and I so loved them. With time and age we grew apart. For 25 years I never knew anything about you. About a month or so ago, we reconnected on Facebook and I was ecstatic. Then when I heard about your passing, I was devastated. I’ll tell you what I told my mom when she passed, go on now and know that you did good, real good. You will rest forever in our thoughts and prayers. May the Lord grant your soul eternal peace.
Your cousin, David Bryan
