  1. A bright smile and an adventuresome spirit, Lucille was always the life of the party. When the cousins got together, we learned a great deal about the Walker family. REST IN PEACE dear one. The battle is over!

  5. Lucy had the biggest smile! She was always so upbeat and loved life to the fullest. I will never forget how she walked around barefoot. She went to a gas station one day with no shoes. We had some good times together. I will miss her dearly. She is dancing in Heaven now.

  6. I’ve known Lucille since I was very young. She grew up with my cousins. She was always so sweet to me. I remember her playing the flute in the band. Loved her smile.

  7. We miss you Lulu. Lucy was the sweetest and kindest person that I have ever met. She always had a big smile on her face when I saw her and always found the humor in things. We considered her part of our family for sure! I miss her laughs and smile. Everytime I would see her she would repeatedly say “I just love ya’ll”. She was always say how much she loved David and Savanna. I’m so sorry she had to go too soon. But one thing is for sure, she definitely is in heaven smiling big and laughing hard and of course dancing. This is not goodbye but see you again later. ❤

  12. David, what a Mom!!!! I met Lucy when I moved down the street in 1960 from them. My mom told me there was a girl standing by the gate to our house and had been there since early morning. It was Lucy coming to play. We always had good times and a friendship that lasted 60 years. Wow what a girl!!! I smile when I think of her!!!! Jennifer Lou Carlisle

  13. As the only living person to have known Lucille Anthony since her birth, I envision her “dancing with the angels”. Her parents introduced my parents, she was born 14 days after I was born in October,1947. We came home from Hermann Hospital to our respective homes in very rural Pearland – our mothers were sisters and our fathers farmers\friends. We celebrated our birthdays together, attended Pearland schools from first through Senior year graduating in 1966, went to SHSU (as did our mothers), graduating in 1970. We went our ways: marrying, careers in education, raising our children-always, always connected, in touch, and laughing, always laughing!

  14. Lucille was a one of a kind lady. I was around her a lot as a young child. She and my mom Susan were great friends. She is, by far, one of my most favorite people of all time….her stories, laughter and upbeat personality, sweetness and warmth. David, I know you must be so proud of her. Heaven just got a wonderful Angel.
