I have fond memories of our kiddos growing up together in the old neighborhood. May God grant all the family His blessed comfort and healing.
Tom and I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Doug, Margaret, and their entire family. I only met Bart on one occasion, but his delight in his daughter Kayleigh was very clear as we sat and discussed our teenagers and their paths forward. He certainly struck me as a very proud dad! Such a nice thing to see.
We are praying for the comfort of fond memories for all the family and for the blessing of peace in the months ahead.
Bart was a dear friend and the consummate entertainer. Whether he was engaging in a hilarious, rambling monologue; cooking a fabulous dinner, or surprising us with floor seats to a Paul McCartney concert, Bart truly loved bringing joy to his friends and family.
My favorite memories with Bart, Susan and Kayleigh took place on road trips or at the beach house. No matter where we all were, one thing was certain — Bart’s beloved Big 80s music was blasting and everyone was singing and dancing!
I am grateful for all the good times and great memories I have of my sweet friend. Sophie and I loved him like family.
I only recently learned of Bart’s passing but wish to send my deepest condolences.
I became friends with Bart after college through working with him for several years in Finance. As young twenty-somethings, navigating the Big City of Houston, Bart was a consummate companion offering his take on restaurants, night life, and of course the beloved visits to the beach house. He was a family man from the very beginning, often hosting get-togethers that lasted into the late night.
While I had lost touch with Bart over the years after moving away from Houston, it breaks my heart to learn a great man like Bart is no longer walking among his friends today.
I wish I had been able to make his celebration back in March, but I firmly believe Bart is watching from Above, knowing his long-ago buddy is sending him prayers. Hook “Em
God Speed, my friend…
