Keith Alan Marks
Friends and family are devastated by the sudden loss of Keith Alan Marks on February 25, 2020. A resident of League City, TX, Keith was born on March 28, 1974 in Albuquerque, NM to Lela (neé Wright) and Warren Marks.
Preceded in death by his father, Keith leaves behind his wife of 19 years, Amy Marks; daughters: Zoë Marks and Ava Marks; mother, Lela Marks; sister, Susan Miller (Bobby); mother in law, Rose McGinnis; sisters in law Shannon Leep (Jeremy) and Molly McGinnis; brother in law, Jimmy McGinnis (Kelley); and numerous beloved cousins, aunts and uncles.
Keith was an amazing human being who was always forward-thinking, witty and loved making people laugh. He was a hands-on father who did everything in his power to make his girls’ lives fun and exciting. A true intellectual, Keith graduated with his BA in Philosophy from the University of New Mexico (2006) to ensure that his children would someday understand his commitment to education and his passion for knowledge. Keith and Amy met in his early days as a Philosophy student and were married on campus.
A longtime player, Keith was a fervent soccer fan. He coached as a volunteer throughout his daughters’ soccer experience with Space City Soccer Club and then Dynamo/Dash Youth Soccer Club. Keith was employed by Progressive Insurance for more than 10 years; he was highly respected throughout the company and enjoyed a strong work family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a fund created to support the bright futures of Keith’s daughters. Visit www.everloved.com/life-of/keith-marks if you wish to make a donation.
There will be a visitation on Friday, February 28, 2020 from 5-8 p.m. and funeral service on Saturday at 10 a.m. Both will be held at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 E. Mains St. League City.

Oh my God! I am terribly sad to hear this. I would run around the neighborhood and play with Keith. When he started high school I was his carpool driver and every morning was fun filled. Then at UNM I would catch up with him occasionally between classes. He will be truly missed.
