Edward Alec Pleimann, Jr
Edward Alec Pleimann, Jr., 63, of Bacliff, passed away February 23, 2020, in League City. Edward was born October 20, 1956 to Laverne and Edward Pleimann, Sr. in St. Louis, Missouri. Edward was a mechanic for many years with G & H Towing, he enjoyed his time coaching little league for the Bayshore Youth Softball Association and belonged to the Kemah Elks Lodge. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Anya Pleimann, brother John Pleimann, and nephew Nicholas Pleimann.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife Constance Freeland Pleimann, daughter Elizabeth Basham and husband Jeremy McKinney; son Frank Edward Basham, Jr. and wife Candi; ex-son-in-law Orbin Perez; sisters Mary Pleimann and Laura Pleimann; grandchildren Annica, Krystopher, and Elijah Perez, and Madison Hall; nieces and nephews Tyler Jones, Ryan Jones, Shelby Jones, Cindy Cullen, Alec Pleimann, and Charles Pleimann; and numerous other family and friends.
In his honor the family will be receiving friends between 2:00 – 4:00 PM, Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas.
Liz, I am so sorry for your loss, I know he will be greatly missed. My prayers and love go out to you and your family in your time of need.

He was great coworker and friend he made work fun and taught me alot of stuff at work we joked around and he a great sense of humor and like to play jokes on me at times him and his wife came to my house for parties and were always welcome I will miss his little laughing and great conversation’s he will be missed

Thank You Mr Ed for taking me under your wing, mentoring me and being my friend. You will be sorely missed by all of us here in Corpus. Enjoy Heaven but please keep an eye on us down here while attempt to keep things running like you did.
Connie, Ed loved you so very much. He was so proud when you were able to walk. He was a gentleman and a neat friend.

Ed was very well liked by his BYSA friends and players and coaches and helped out when ever he could. Ed was a decent man, and really surprised to hear of his passing. My biggest memory was when we was playing adult softball just how fast he could run at 60 years old. Way to young to pass. Sorry Connie and Family.
Sorry we can’t make it down from St. Louis in time, my first cousin and friend since childhood, glad to hear he was a good worker and mentor, no man can ask for more than good memories and respect of friends and co-workers, we saw the half-mast tribute this morning on facebook, what an honor from his employer and coworkers. I miss him so much, was cremated Ed? Ed was my Hero.
I’m Soo sorry for your loss of Ed. When Bruce came home and told me about Ed’s Home Going, I was shocked !! When we were moving from living beside Elizabeth, I noticed him out on her porch. We spoke and he came over for a short conversation. I commented that with our move that we would be closer. Little did I know that would be the last time I would see him on this earth. I always enjoyed seeing him when he would come and pick you up from Bill & Marie’s. He always had a smile and a chuckle.
