Michael Patrick Ziegler
Michael Patrick Ziegler, 44, of San Leon, passed away June 24, 2014. He was born November 15, 1969 to Patrick Francis and Mary Patricia Zieger in Woodbury, NJ. Michael owned and operated Coastal Building and Remodeling but was an avid hunter and fisherman in his spare time. He was devoted to his family and his friends. Michael was preceded in death by his father, and his step-father, William Belzer.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Tomlinson; step-father, Steve Tomlinson; daughter, Jessica Schlomer; sons, Cody and Michael Ziegler; granddaughter, Kiley Adams; sister, Erika Zieger; brothers Patrick Zieger Jr. and his wife Melinda, William Belzer Jr., Francis Zieger and Timothy Reed; nieces, Cassidy and Savannah Whitehead; nephews, Joey Brantley and Chris Schlomer; and lifelong friend, Daron Henderson.
A visitation in his honor will be held Saturday, June 28, 2014 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, with a celebration of his life following at 3:00 pm, Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family during their difficult time. Mike was a great friend and father. He will be missed by all.
My thoughts and prayers go to Michael’s family. I knew him as a child and friend of my children. He often spent time at our home swimming. I knew his Mother and Step-Dad well in Glassboro. He always had a glint in his eye and you knew he was up to something. I pray Michael’s family finds peace as takes his journey to everlasting Life.
I am so sorry for his family. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. He was one of the good guys.

Mike.. I had a dream about you last night… that you had came back. That you were here with us. I hugged you so tight and cried as I told you how much I had missed you while you were gone. You are my dad, and I wish I you were here to see my son grow up. I named him Michael and I know you would be so proud of the woman I’ve become today. I miss you so so dearly. I hope you’re doing great up there. I’ll never forget you and how loving and caring you were to myself and my brother. I just wish we had more time together.
Thank you for loving me and my sister better than anyone could have, thank you for being so good. I miss you and your hugs, I was so little when you met my mom. But I remember everything I miss you and I love you so much.
