Evangelist Irma Lee Reed was born on July 6, 1946 to the union of Blanche and Gennie Jarrett in Brownsville, TN. Irma attended Macedonia Elementary School and graduated from Carver High School in Brownsville, TN. She met and married Richard Reed from Brownsville, TN. She relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she worked and retired from Briggs and Stratton.

Evangelist Irma Reed was a member of All Nations Pentecostal Church of Holiness in Milwaukee, WI, where she was the church secretary and was involved in numerous church activities for 30 years. She was an ordained evangelist under the leadership of Bishop William T. Smith.

After retirement Irma moved to Texas to be near her daughters and granddaughters. She was blessed to find a spiritual home at The Fountain of Praise church in 2010. Dr. Remus Wright and Co-Pastor Mia K Wright provided her with many years of spiritual guidance and loving church that accepted her and her family. As she would always say “Pastor Wright sure can preach the word.” She was a loving, and carefree woman.

On Monday, December 16, 2012 in Round Rock, Texas Irma Lee Reed answered the Master’s call and reborn in paradise greeted by the arms of her husband of 20 years Richard Reed and her son Kevin Allen Reed who preceded her in death.

Irma is survived by her two daughters, Alisa A. Reed and her fiancé Roosevelt Holmes, Cherena A. Davis and her husband Marcus Davis; granddaughters Brooke and Morgan Davis. Siblings, Mary Brown (Kansas City, MO), Rev. Amelia Dortch (Detroit, MI), Dr. Emma Jean Muex-Stacker (Chicago, IL), Willie T. Jarrett (Kansas City, MO), Brenda Muex (St. Louis, MO), Leon Jarrett (Kansas City, MO), and Darlene Jarrett (Chicago, IL). Ms. Irma as she was affectionately called leaves behind host of extended family and friends.

Proceeded in Death: Gennie Jarrett Jr., Blanche Jarrett, Melvin Jarrett, Nelson Jarrett, Lillie D. Taylor, Wilma Mann. Irma loved her daughters and especially her granddaughters. If you were blessed to cross her path ad be greeted with a smile you were touched by a true angel on earth.

One of Irma’s quotes were: “Nothing remains the same.”

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at The Fountain of Praise Worship Center with a service to begin at 11 a.m. Followed by a burial at Houston Memorial Garden Cemetery in Pearland.
