thank you He LOVED your family
It was an honor to have met you although I didn’t know you for a long time, I liked the man I met. It’s bitter-sweet. Bitter because you had to go so soon but sweet because of where I know you are.
Thank you for allowing me into your life, It was bitter sweet. Bitter because you were in the fight for your life when I met you and your bride, Nita. Sweet because otherwise we may have never become friends.
Thank you for your service to our country and to your fellow man and the ideals of freedom. Thank you for never quitting. Thank you for always planning ahead. Even in the last days you were planning to continue to serve others by participating in the Chaplaincy with me. That too is bitter sweet. Bitter because we didn’t quite make that one. Sweet because you were already a Chaplain at heart. I commend you for the man I came to know. So for now honorary “Chaplain” Lloyd, rest from your labor.
We’ll take it from here for now, but one day soon, we will meet you there.
