Sue Ella Koerber, 84, passed away on 10-3-2019 in League City, Texas. She was born on September 25,1935 in Louisville, Kentucky to Roy and Grace Render. Sue is survived by her sons, Jon, Mark and Scott; daughter-in-laws, Beth, Elva and Lana; grandchildren, Mandy Winton, Rachel Bradshaw, Heather Waldrop, Kayla Wilson, Priscilla Tubbs, Nicole Conner, Olivia Koerber, Alexis Koerber and Alyssa Koerber; great grandchildren, Trevin Waldrop, Kyle Waldrop, Lily Waldrop, Abigail Winton, Riley Waldrop, Josiah Winton, Noveyha Watson, Gracie Waldrop, Emily Bradshaw, Eli Bradshaw, Morgan Winton, Ethan Bradshaw, Gabriel Tubbs, Aaliyah Tubbs, Mya Tubbs, Isaac Conner, Scarlett Conner and Skylar Conner. She had a passion for her faith in Jesus Christ at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church and loved to entertain folks serving special meals, desserts and candies. Her comfort place was in the kitchen. It was not uncommon for Sue to meet a new visitor at church and immediately invite them over for food and libations. Sue and her husband Kenn were instrumental in starting the Gloria Dei Shrimp Boil and Auction which originated in their back yard 42 years ago. Sue’s family will receive guest from 9:30am to 10:30am on Friday, Oct. 11, 2019 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Nassau Bay, TX. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 11, 2019 from 10:30 to 11:30 with a light reception immediately following the service. There will be a private burial later that afternoon.
