To Chanel, Robert III & Sonia, I have no words of comfort to offer at this time..What I can offer is to tell you that I thought the world of Robert II.. He was a great Dad that would do anything for his kids..He loved his parents and his sister. He had such a good heart. And I think I was the only neighbor that enjoyed his taste in music. Rest in Peace Robert. You will be forever missed..
I love you Gail. Your presence meant the world to me.
Deepest sympathy and condolences.
So thankful to spend time with Bobby in H/town we had fun he is a good guy, ultimate gentleman.
Dear Sonia, No words can express how sorry I am for your loss. As a parent, you should never have to feel the pain from the loss of your child. I pray that each day you will find comfort in the good memories with Robert and know that he loved you with all his heart. My deepest sympathy to you, Ellen
Dear Cyndi, I am deeply saddened by the loss of your brother. You and your family meant the world to him. He was so happy that you found such a wonderful loving husband and very proud of the amazing young man his nephew has become. He was especially proud of the woman you’ve become. He talked about that often. I pray that your good “big brother” memories will help you through these difficult days and months ahead. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. With sympathy, Ellen
Thank you Ellen. Your comment warms my heart. Still can’t believe he’s gone.
Dearest Chantel and Robert III, my heart and soul goes out to you both at this MOST DIFFICULT time. The two of you and your children are your dads living legacy. You will probably never know how much you both meant to him and how PROUD he was of BOTH of you. He talked of nothing else. He worried, wondered and prayed (yes, prayed) that you would both be OK. He spent the whole time I knew him, wishing he could do more for you both, to help protect your future. He was also such a PROUD grandpa. The idea of becoming a grandpa the first time was a little overwhelming, but when he saw that precious baby the first time, all his grandpa worries were gone! I hope that you can keep your dads memory alive for your children and let them know what a kind, compassionate man he was. Your dad (and Yuna) will always have a piece of my heart. You will both be in my prayers and thoughts for strength as you make your way through these next difficult days, weeks and months. With deepest sympathy, Ellen
Land Pirate and Yuna, I’m sure if you cannot see these words from the beyond, you will “feel” them… My life is MUCH richer because of the good times that we spent together. I am broken hearted that you left us all this way TOO SOON. However, my memories of the good times, the laughs, the travels (especially Hawaii), our love of the same music, the concerts, our love for Yuna and the hours on end of discussions, will help me deal with these raw emotions I am feeling now. All of your pain and worries are gone now Land Pirate and you will always have a piece of my heart. Your work on this earth is done, so may you Rest in Peace. Love, your Yankee Girl – Ellen
