Vickie Lynn Galvan
Vickie Lynn Galvan, 70, of Dickinson passed away May 8, 2019, in Houston. Vickie was born May 10, 1948, to Alice Pauline and John Weldon Roby in Electra, Texas. She was a loyal member of the Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church and will be remembered as a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Vickie was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Edward Albro.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband of 29 years Joe Galvan, daughters Kristie Shirley and husband Scott, and Deshea Galvan Garcia and husband Adam; sons James Wolfe and wife Laura, and Joseph Dimaggio Galvan and wife Kelly; sister Brenda Roby; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In her honor, a visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Monday, May 13, 2019, at Crowder Funeral Home, Dickinson, Texas. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10:30 AM, Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Shrine of the True Cross Catholic Church, Dickinson. Interment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park, Hitchcock, Texas.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Scott Andrew Shirley, Adam Garcia, Brian Edward Wolfe, Bradley Murray Wolfe, James William Wolfe, IV, and Zackaree Taylor Wolfe.
