Doris Jane Kotek
Doris Jane Kotek, 83, passed on to our Heavenly Father on April 7, 2019 in San Marcos, TX. Doris was born on August 10, 1935 in Wichita Falls, TX. Doris was a 24 year resident of Pearland, TX where she attended St. Helen Catholic Church and taught children’s Sunday school classes. She was employed for over 20 years as a special education bus driver for Clear Creek ISD.
Doris joins her husband of 53 years, Vincent T. Kotek Sr.; her daughter, Debra Sue Sharp; and her parents, George and Katie Bryan.
Doris is survived by her son, Vincent T. Kotek Jr. “Butch” and his wife Trish; daughter Sherrlyn Creech; grandchildren: Scott Sharp Jr., Brittany Sharp, Holly Wessels, Dustin Kotek, Beth Hanschen, Ryan Cheatham, Christopher Cheatham, Cameron Kotek; great grandchildren; her brother, G.H. Bryan Jr., and many more beloved family members.
Doris was a loving child of God. She will be missed by her family and friends as they rejoice in her eternal peace.
Funeral service will begin Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 11am in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 E. Broadway St. Pearland, TX 77581. Graveside service will be held 10am, Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, TX.
Pallbearers: Scott Sharp Sr., Scott Sharp Jr., Dustin Kotek, Cameron Kotek, Ryan Cheatham, and Christopher Cheatham.
Doris was our beloved neighbor since we moved to Woodcreek subdivision in 2013. She showered affection on my husband and me and our family, especially, Wyatt and Carson. We love you, Ms. Doris, and have missed you each day since you moved to San Marcos. I know that the welcoming arms of the Lord are surrounding you in His heavenly home.
I cleaned her house for 4 years. Im saddened to hear this. She’ll forever be missed.
