Karen Ann Dixon passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at the age of 69, in Webster, Texas surrounded by her husband, children, and family.  Karen is now at peace after fighting a battle with cancer for 4 years. Beloved wife of 32 years to Keith Dixon.  Loving mother of Stacey Stafford (Jerry) and Tricia Canales, grandmother of Brooke Bauer, Josh Mckee (Sharron), and David Canales, and great-grandmother to Landen and Aiden.  Karen is the daughter of late Gerald William and Esther Stant.  The granddaughter of the late Ivan and Mildred Stant and Edward Moran and Annetta Fink. She is preceded in death by her nephew Greg Stant. Karen is survived by her siblings, Richard A. Stant of Hurricane Mills, TN and Tina J. Brown of Connersville, IN.  She is blessed with a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Karen was a 1967 graduate of Connersville High School and late graduated with an associate’s degree in Computer Science from IVY Tech.  Karen and daughter Tricia, where co-owners of Promed Inc. (a medical billing company). Karen’s main interest was her family and her hobbies consisted of beading and jewelry making. Karen will always be remembered as a warm and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend and wife.
