Sharlene Skolaut
It is with great sadness that the family of Sharlene Skolaut wife, mom, nana and friend, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2018 suddenly at the age of 67.
Sharlene will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 45 years, Steve; daughters: Tiffany Bornemann (Keith) and Taylar; granddaughters: Mackenzie, Hadley, Ainsley and Lilah as well as her Aunt Wanda Greer. Sharlene will also be forever remembered by her numerous friends, neighbors, and large extended family.
Sharlene had many extended relatives, most of which were not technically related to either herself, or Steve. In others time of need they never hesitated to open their arms, hearts & home; providing a safe space, free of judgement for those who needed it the most.
After growing up in Deer Park, she spent her entire adult life as a proud resident of Pearland. Sharlene was happiest sitting on the sand at the beach, gardening, singing to her granddaughters or enjoying a good margarita with the “W-WOW” Women of Woodcreek! She was a proud member of the Heritage Gardner’s.
A viewing will be held Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 2-5pm at Crowder Funeral home 2422 East Broadway Pearland, Texas.
In leu of flowers, the family requests donations to a children charity of your choice or spread kindness by doing a random act in her honor.
My sincerest sympathy to your family. Sharlene brightened up our bunco tables with her joy and laughter. Peace, Love, Hope, and Faith, Kim
