Mrs. Vera Charlene Ford, 79, a life long resident of Houston, TX passed away on June 20, 2018. Mrs. Ford was born April 22, 1939 in Houston, TX to Grant and Charlie Mae Lenued. She was a longtime member of South Union Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Ford joins her husband, Henry Ford Jr.; son, Andre Ford and her parents.

She leaves behind her daughter, Monique Johnson, husband Barry; daughter-in-law, Nannette Ford; grandchildren: Brandon Johnson, Bryce Johnson, Ashley Allen and Brianna Allen; sisters: Beedie Williams, Sadie Alix, Gwendolyn Campbell, husband Jodie, Jarold Adams and Joyce Cook; brother, Grant Lenued Jr., wife Barbara.

There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at 10am. Funeral service to begin at 11am with Pastor Michael Smith officiating, at South Union Missionary Baptist Church, 3550 Lydia St. Houston, TX 77021. Burial to follow at Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Pearland.
