Vicky Lynn Varner, 62, resident of Dickinson, Texas, passed away April 3, 2014 in Texas City, Texas. She was born February 24, 1952 in Port Arthur, Texas to parents Irvin and Audrey Firmin. She was a member of League City Church of Christ. Vicky loved her family as well as her four beloved dogs, Sam, Harry, Sissy, and Zoe. She enjoyed gardening and sitting on her porch watching the birds with her dogs by her side. Christmas was her favorite time of year and she always made the holiday fun for her entire family. Most important was her love for the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Varner; daughter, Wendy M. Kressley and husband Bob Yoder; son, Micheal W. Kressley and wife Holly; sister, Diana Rice and husband Joe; brothers, Kelly Firmin and Keith Firmin; grandchildren, Meagan, Hannah, Kaylee, and Alli.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2014 at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Dickinson Cemetery in Dickinson, Texas.
