Heather Currid
Heather Currid, 53, passed away on January 2nd, 2018 in Houston, TX. She was born on January 28th, 1964 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Joan Grant and David Riggs. Heather is survived by her parents, Joan and Mort Grant, sister, Marti Turner, brothers, Brian Riggs, Scott Riggs, and AJ Grant, and her children, Andrew Currid and Taylor Morgan. Heather is also survived by her nephews, Ryan Riggs and Dyaln Turner, along with numerous friends that Heather adored. She had a passion for school, sports, greyhounds, cooking, helping people, and her family. A visitation will be held on January 6th, 2018 at 2 o’clock at Crowder Funeral Home, Webster, TX. The services will follow immediately at 3 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Heather, can be made to the charity of your choice.

I had one of the most wonderful childhoods on Long Grove anyone could have and Heather was intertwined in it all. We feel a great loss but I have even greater memories.
My deepest sympathy to Taylor and Andrew, Joan and Mort and Brian, Marti and Scott. Heather will live forever in our hearts. Between each tear we must remember Heather’s kindness, love, smile and laughter that we all loved so.
