Billy Dwight Logan
Billy Dwight Logan, 72, resident of Hitchcock, Texas passed away November 13, 2017. He was born April 21, 1945 in Galveston, Texas to parents Audie Edwin Miles and Mary Helen Miles.
Billy was a 1963 graduate of Dickinson High School. He previously lived in Hitchcock, Texas for forty-five years and worked forty-three years as a Chemical Lab Technician for Valero Chemical Plant, before retiring.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann Logan. Survivors include his daughter, Crystal D. Logan; son, Chad A. Logan; eight grandchildren, Gabrielle, Isabella, Madelyn, Chad Jr., and Jaxon Logan and Josh, Nicholas and Brooklyn Hutchins.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 19, 2017 from 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, November 20, 2017 at Crowder Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.
May you be by the Lord’s side and with all who you loved and all who loved you. I know your Grandson Jacob Wooldridge and family will miss you something fierce. You and Jacob became so close and I am very grateful that you included him into your family.

Grandpa I will always cherish our memories we shared all our laughs and great times. I miss you so much already and love you and forever will be missed. But I know you r happy and enjoying being back with grandma I will see you again one day

Bill was a true Southern gentleman with such a beautiful heart.
I’m going to miss talking to him, but I know he is with his beloved wife and his sweet dogs again.
To his son and daughter. He loved you two very much, and talked about you often.
He was very proud of you both. Keep him in your heart until you see him again one day. He will always have a special place in my heart as well.
Bill had the kindest heart and reached out to anyone he thought was an underdog. His heart was so big that he included all animals, tame or feral, into his world and offered his food scraps at the edge of the woods. I have so much respect for him and wish him a safe passage on his journey. My condolences to Bill’s family for the loss of such a kind, gentle being. Blessings.
