Mrs. Nell Smith (Dot) Jackson, daughter of Gordon Smith and Roberta W. Smith was born August 12, 1933 and was one of twelve children. She was united in holy matrimony July 24, 1952 to Wilburn Eugene (Jack) Jackson. This union was blessed with two children, Brenda Gale Hill and James Eugene (Jim) Jackson. Wilburn Eugene (Jack) Jackson preceded her in death April 28, 1989.

Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother to all her family.
Nell walked peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Ashton Parke Care Center in La Marque, Texas.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of the people who are left behind: daughter Brenda Gale Hill and her husband Max William Hill, son James Eugene (Jim) Jackson and his wife Debra Lynn Jackson, granddaughter Fawna Lynn McKinley and family, grandson Bradley Kyle Smith and family, granddaughter Jaime BreAnn (Breezy) Miller and family, granddaughter Hannah Alexandra Barbee, eleven great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, four sisters, and one brother.

A graveside service will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Burnet, Texas.
