Virginia Lucio Castro, 96, of Texas City passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017. She was born August 8, 1921 in San Patricio, Texas to Guadalupe and Tomasitia Lucio.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Pablo Castro.
Virginia is survived by her five daughters: Dalia Alcorte, Adela Garcia (Mike), Diana Luna, Juanita Ybanez and Virginia Rogue(Curtis) and her two sons: Guadalupe Rodriguez (Gracie) and Paul Castro; her thirty-five grandchildren, ninety six great-grandchildren, thirty four great-great grandchildren and two great-great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 10:00am – 12:00Noon at the Cross Pointe Community Church 722 3rd Ave North Texas City with the Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Jesse Garcia and Pastor Guadalupe Rodriguez officiating. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Ernest Zepeda, Tony Alcorte, Israel Garcia III, Isaac Rodriguez, Arturo Garcia and Paul Castro. Honorary Pallbearers will be Marcus Ybanez and Christian Harvey.
