Rest in Peace to a most loved gentleman who will be greatly missed, but fondly remembered.
So sad to hear of Greg’s passing. I went to school with Greg at TAMUK and then later worked with him at Celanese. He was such a great, caring, and upbeat fellow. He could always make us smile despite the stressful circumstances. Thoughts and prayers to his loved ones.
I was so heartbroken over Greg’s passing. Greg was my brother-in-law, I am Cindy’s sister. My husband and I both loved Greg. He was always so kind and very caring ro everyone. I think he was the most courteous person I have ever met! We spent alot of holidays w/Greg & Cindy, and we were already planning the next one and a few other places we all wanted to travel to together. He was such a loving husband to Cindy. He drove all day and night to be with Cindy for my father’s funeral back in 2013 and I knew then he was a keeper. He definitely enriched all of my family’s lives by knowing him. His smile and gentle nature will be greatly missed by all of us.
We were so shocked to learn of Greg’s passing. We were Greg and Cindy’s next door neighbors in El Lago until we moved to Tennessee last July. We always enjoyed our chats in the yard with Greg reflecting on life and house and yard maintenance. Greg would borrow our tall extension ladder for house maintenance (which we gifted to him when we left) and he was always offering to help us move a piece of furniture or offer to let us borrow a tool. He was a wonderful generous man and good friend. We observed what a great husband he was to Cindy and a devoted father he was to Alejandra and Andrea. It was fun to watch them play catch in the yard, he always had that great smile on his face and a wonderful laugh! He was so good hearted.
I have been reflecting on a conversation we had last summer when he was telling me about how stressful work was with these demanding “turnarounds” and that he wanted to enjoy life more and not live under such work stress. He said their had to be a better way to live. I hope work stress was not a contributing factor to his passing. It would break my heart because I know how much he wanted from life for himself and his family.
Our hearts go out to you Cindy, Alejandra and Andrea and we send you our love and condolences. And also to the entire family. We know the pain of losing thoes we love too soon. We pray you will be comforted and guided in these coming days and weeks and that you will be surrounded by the love and support you need.
May the Lord be with you and embrace you with His Love and peace. You will get through this together.
