Clevelon Brown
Clevelon Eldridge Brown, Jr., 64, resident of Dickinson, Texas since 1976, passed from this life on September 3, 2017. He was born in Galveston, Texas on February 22, 1953 to loving parents, Clevelon and Catherine Brown.
Clevelon, retired from Coburn’s Supply after 40 years of loyal service.
Clevelon was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Jason Dunlap Brown and wife Perla; his sister, Donna Bird; three grandchildren, Brianna Brown, Jason Brown Jr., and Alyssa Brown; two nephews, Kevin Bird, and Todd Bird as well as many other loving relatives and friends.
In his honor, a visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00p.m. at the Crowder Funeral Home Chapel, Dickinson, Texas with a funeral service on Wednesday September 13, 2017 at 10:00a.m. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park, Hitchcock, Texas.
Chuck was a good friend of Curtis and I while I lived in Texas. He will be missed by so many. I send my love and prayers to his family and may he rest in peace.

Jan and I (and late brother Dicky) had great times with you back in the “rowdy” days of the Galveston seawall and when you lived across the alley from us in the early 70’s. Will never forget our trips to Louisiana to visit your relatives and of course, those “eventful” nights at Gilley’s.
