Robert Frederick Deauquier
Robert Frederick Deauquier, 58, was born February 26, 1959 in Galveston, TX and passed away August 24, 2017. Mr. Deauquier was formerly of Hitchcock, TX but settled in Friendswood, TX in 1986 and a lifelong member of the Methodist Church. Mr. Deauquier was an electrician for 40 years serving eight years with University of Houston and seventeen years with Houston Lighting and Power Company.
Robert was a true craftsman in woodworking and furniture making. He especially loved The Dallas Cowboys. Other joys were his love of the mountains, life-long animal lover, history buff, laughing with family, friends and co-workers but the most important thing to him was spending time with his wife, children, and with all other family members.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Jeannie Deauquier.
Robert will be missed by his loving wife of 31 years Denise Deauquier; daughter Robbie Lynn Gage and husband Michael; son Robert F. Deauquier II and Becca Leach; grandchildren: Solon Gage, Nicholas Gage, Corbin Gage, Liam Gage, Dylan Leach, Connor Leach and Morgan Leach; brother Lloyd Brooks Deauquier II and wife Lisa; brother-in-law, Louis Stone, and wife Pam; cousins: Ena Hughes, Stephenie Pharr and husband David, and numerous other loving family members.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 1pm in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home in Pearland.

For so many reasons my heart is confused. My heart is broken and shattered for Denise, Robert II, Barney, Tigger and the gang of four. Robbie and husband Mike and their 4 kids will lose those great memories as they grow up. I could speak of everyone but we are all affected by this. The other part of my heart is happy for Robert. He is pain free and he is with people who love him. God blessed Robert with 58 wonderful years, my sister got 31 of those. He was dedicated in life to making things better for everyone around him. We miss you Robert and always will. Keep my seat warm and until then, I love ya bro n law!!!!!!
I never had the pleasure to meet Robert in person but I felt like I knew him because Denise and I talked about our husbands and our family all the time. Denise bragged on him like any loving wife would.
Robert was an amazing craftsman; if there was something at the office he made, Denise was eager to say that her husband hand made that. It broke my heart to hear that Robert passed; I know that he is dearly missed by all. The Lord needed another angel; he’s home now.

My condolence to the Family, I worked with Robert for 5yrs.at the University of Houston in the Power Plant. The Central Plant employees are like a Family, he will be missed. Keep the Faith.

I worked with Robert at the university of Houston for the past 2 years. He was a great guy and always willing to help others. We will miss him ! My condolences and prayers for peace to the family. Philippians 4:7 and the peace of God,which passes all understanding,shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
I would like to extend my most sincere sympathies for the loss of my uncle, taken too soon from us. He was a larger than life person with a humor and laugh to match. My condolences to Denise, Robbie, Robert junior, Dad, and all others who knew and loved him. I regret that I will not be able to attend the memorial but will be there in spirit. I will miss him terribly.
My condolence to the Deauquier family, I worked with Robert for last two and half years at the University of Houston power plant , he was always there if i need any help at work place. He was a great guy and sincere friend to me always. He will be missed a lot. My prayers and thought will always be there for the comfort of the family.
