Ann Ragland Redburn, 74, was taken home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 23, 2014 in Richmond, Texas. She was born on April 4, 1939 in Houston, TX to Virgil and Gene Ragland. Ann is survived by her: father, Virgil Griffin Ragland; daughter, Barbra Calvin and husband, Stanley; sons, Brad O’Keefe and wife, Nicole and Michael O’Keefe and wife, Nancy; brother, Charlie Ragland and wife, Nancy; grandchildren, Michael, Brittany, Candis, Miles, Cameron, Connor; great grandchild, Chloe; and numerous family and friends.

Ann worked and lived in the Houston area for most of her life. She had a passion for life and animals and especially loved horses and dogs. Ann enjoyed voluntary involvement with the Houston Live Stock Show and Rodeo and was the mother to numerous pets and animals through the years. Ann enjoyed being with family and friends and was always the center of attention; her laugh and witty humor was loved by all.

A private family graveside services will be held at Hollywood Cemetery, Houston, Texas. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Ann’s memory may do so to the Humane Society of the United States.
