Robert Lee Rowland, 85, resident of Bacliff, Texas, passed away February 7, 2014 in Webster, Texas. He was born March 8, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri, to parents Melvarn and Pearl M. Rowland.

He was a Real Estate Broker for fifty years and had his office on Grand Ave. in Bacliff, Texas. Robert was very dedicated to his business. He was an Eagle Scout, a member of the Masonic Lodge, member of the American Legion Post 291, a member and past President of the San Leon and Bacliff Chamber of Commerce. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2014 at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas.

A private burial was held at Houston National Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
