Michael Edward Herr
Michael Edward Herr, of League City, Texas passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the age of 66. He was born September 25, 1950 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Edward John and Phylis Herr. He unselfishly served his country for 6 years in the Navy. Michael is preceded in death by his father Edward John Herr, his wife Barbara Jean Herr and granddaughter April Martin. Michael is survived by his mother Phylis Herr, brother Kevin Herr and wife Phyllis, sister Kathy Wood and husband David Wood, son Adam Herr, daughter Cara Herr and husband James Glover and grandchild Misty. Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 11am-12pm at Crowder Funeral Home, 1645 East Main Street, League City, Texas with Funeral services following at 12pm. Interment will follow at Forest Park East, Webster, Texas.
This was a great human and wonderful brother. He will be so very missed. His phone calls on Sundays to family, were comforting and anticipated, however it really pulled at us all Today as his Michigan family were all together at a family gathering no call came!!!! The Very Best always leave way too soon! So glad we got to visit last year for Mistys graduation. This weekend we got to graduate 2 more from high school and Mike knew as he got the invites to open houses, even if they were in Michigan! Mike and Barb are back together now, along with granddaughter April, Mike’s Dad, & Barb’s parents. I am sure they all are watching over Adam, Cara, JR and Misty. XXOO’S!!
